REACHOUT - REACH IN
MINISTRY

When an unexpected loss occurs, most of us are unprepared for how to handle it, especially if we have never had to deal with it before. Even if we have, it is still traumatic each time.

Some people that have never suffered job loss are feeling the grief associated with that loss for the first time, others having felt the pain and grief before are facing the uncertainty of the future with stress and fear of what the future might be like without a job in our current economic climate.

We are never trained in the art associated with finding a job, how to determine what our passion really is, or how to define skills so that we can convince the person hiring that we are perfect for "the job". On February 3rd we held the first of our bi-weekly meetings with 6 team members present. The team is expanding each week as more and more face the uncertainty of the future without a job.

Each week we present a speaker that gives the team members information that will help them be more aware of a variety of options open to them in their job search.

Each member is part of the marketing team for the rest of the members. We know what other team members are looking for in their job search and are on the lookout during their search for opportunities for their teammates.
